Travel Goa under Budget : How it All Begin

As I promised in my last post this time I will be posting about my trip to Goa and it was amongst my refreshingly brilliant experience.

There was two reasons why I visited Goa

Firstly it was simply because I wanted to see the beauty of the place and have some adventure in my own right. Also I was told by mother that we have lived there when I was a child and I had faint memories of it.So I wanted to find out whether I  could figure out the place which my mother described even though it had been 16 years since we have left the place.

Secondly I some how figured out that one of my friend who studied with me during my childhood is also studying in a college in Goa ,Goa Engineering College  to be specific.

These two reasons were more than sufficient for me to take out on a journey.

I commenced my journey from Chennai on 8 July 2011 when I boarded the Vasco Express. I decided on the date  because the college was reopening on 11 July 2011 and I was in the hope that I could find the one I am looking for as it is mandatory to register  oneself for the next semester and all the students would be present.

When I confided the reason why I am looking forward to go to Goa  to one of my friend,simply to pose challenge to the already difficult trip he added another:

That I have to spend less than Rs 1000 for the 5 day 4 night stay in Goa  and I am not  Entering any of the defence colonies especially Varunapuri and I am not taking anyone's help whom I already know in my life.

The budget also included my traveling expanses within Goa and my one way ticket to Chennai .he showed some mercy on my other way trip because the ticket was already booked and there was no point in cancelling the ticket in the last 24 hours.

The target was to cover any of the 25 location (of which 20 were mandatory)out of the 30 locations he has given me and I am going to cover rest of my expanse also within the Rs 1000 allotted to me.

So how I visited all the places,have  I found the location my mom described,have my expanses been under Rs1000 and  have I found the one I am looking for and most importantly have I enjoyed the trip.

Now I feel the background information is more than enough and we get going with my travel trip to Goa and the order in which  covered the places with background information of each of the place if possible.
